I'm available for freelance work as a C++, C and Python developer — full-time, starting immediately, and fully remote. I'm based in Germany and work in both German and English.

I have multiple years of professional C++ experience, including my current position at Hex-Rays SA, where I work on the decompiler. Alongside that, I bring years of self-taught experience in reverse engineering, Python tooling and highly optimized C++ software. You can find many examples here on my projects page.

C++ & C

Performance & optimization

Profiling, memory layout, cache-aware data structures, SIMD and multithreading — making hot paths measurably faster without sacrificing readability. dconstruct decompiles 8000 source files in under 10 seconds; Lenia runs a continuous cellular automaton in real time on the GPU.

Compilers & language tooling

Lexers, parsers, ASTs, code generation and domain-specific languages. I've built lowercase, a C-like language compiling to x86-64, and the DCPL compiler inside dconstruct, which recompiles modified pseudocode back into bytecode.

Reverse engineering & binary tooling

Disassemblers, decompilers, undocumented file formats and bytecode, static and dynamic analysis with IDA Pro, Ghidra and GDB. Professionally, I work on the Hex-Rays decompiler every day.

Python

Tooling, automation & CLI

Build scripts, internal developer tools, processing pipelines and packaging — the glue that keeps a codebase and its team moving.

C/C++ extensions & bindings

Moving hot paths from Python into native code and exposing them cleanly through extension modules, so you keep Python's ergonomics without its overhead.

Data processing & visualization

Pandas, Matplotlib and Manim for analysis and animated visualizations, plus ffmpeg-based media pipelines for automated rendering and conversion.
